Handyman services in Singapore

For HDB flats, condos, landed homes and offices. Tell us what needs doing, one job or a list, and we’ll pass it to a partner handyman, who quotes and does the work.

Know the job? Go straight to its page for what’s included, what affects the price and how to get ready. Got a few small things? Put them in one enquiry.

A list of small jobs, one visit

Most homes collect small jobs: a shelf to put up, a cabinet door that hangs low, a bathroom bead going black, a light that needs changing. Each one alone hardly seems worth a call. Together they make a sensible visit.

Tick every job that applies in the enquiry and add a line on each. The partner can then plan the visit, bring the right parts, and quote for the lot.

Repairs before handing back a rental

Tenants moving out often have a list of small repairs before the joint inspection: holes from wall mounts, loose handles, worn sealant, a door that no longer latches. These are handyman jobs, and you can send them as one enquiry.

For what’s worth fixing and what to leave, OurKampung, a sister guide run by the same team, has a checklist: handyman fixes worth doing before you hand back a rental.

What this site arranges

A handyman job

  • Repairs and replacements: a tap, a hinge, a light
  • Things you’ve bought, put up or put together
  • Usually one visit, often an hour or two
  • No change to the layout of the home
A wall with its plaster hacked off to the bricks, a bin of debris and new tiles: a renovation

A bigger job

A renovation

  • Hacking walls, re-tiling, new floors
  • Moving pipes, power points or a kitchen
  • Built-in carpentry and full repainting
  • Usually planned, and scheduled over days or weeks

Junk to Clear, a renovation and disposal company we refer jobs to, takes renovation enquiries.

What affects the price

We don’t publish prices. The partner gives you a quote once it knows the job, from your description and photos, or after a look. It depends on:

  • What each job involves, and how many jobs there are.
  • Parts and fittings, and whether you supply them or the handyman does.
  • The walls, floors and fittings the handyman has to work with.
  • Access: high ceilings, tight spaces, or a building that limits working hours.
  • How soon you need it, and whether it has to be out of hours.

Questions

Can one handyman do several different jobs in one visit?

Often, yes. List them all in one enquiry, with a line on each. The partner will say whether it can do them together, or whether one of them needs a separate visit.

What if my job isn’t listed?

Tick “Something else” and describe it. We’ll check whether a partner takes on that kind of job and tell you either way.

Do I need to buy the parts?

Either works. If you’ve already bought a tap, a lock or a light, say so. If not, the handyman can usually bring parts and include them in the quote.

Do you do renovation?

Not on this site. Hacking, tiling, carpentry and full repainting are renovation work. Junk to Clear, a renovation and disposal company we refer jobs to, takes those enquiries.
